Dialysis Treatment

Healthy kidneys clean the blood by filtering out extra water and wastes. They also make hormones that keep your bones strong and blood healthy. When both of your kidneys fail, you will need treatment to help your body continue those vital functions. There are two different types of dialysis therapy options: peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. Patients can choose to receive dialysis treatments at home or in a dialysis clinic/center.
