Dialysis Treatment

Healthy kidneys clean the blood by filtering out extra water and wastes. They also make hormones that keep your bones strong and blood healthy. When both of your kidneys fail, you will need treatment to help your body continue those vital functions. There are two different types of dialysis therapy options: peritoneal dialysis and hemodialysis. Patients can choose to receive dialysis treatments at home or in a dialysis clinic/center.

In-Center Dialysis

For in-center dialysis, we will refer you to Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC), our primary dialysis partner. We are medical directors at FKC Belleview and FKC West Hampden.

Home Dialysis

We offer home dialysis services through the Fresenius Kidney Care UltraCare at home® program. Home dialysis offers convenience and comfort while undergoing dialysis treatments.
